Captain's chairs seat covers

What have you used to cover your Captain's chairs?

I have an 87' 325 with deteriorating conditions on the seats.
Retail? on-line?
Would prefer fabric.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

You can get them reupholstered like I did and get the correct foam for the cushions whether youíre a fat ass or a stick like me who has to run around in the shower to get wet. Or you can do what Mayco did and buy new seats complete. I donít think you would be happy with a JC Witney
type cover but I donít know what your tastes are or how deep your wallet is.....regardless, I plan on doing a lot of traveling so I wanted to be comfortable, Regards, Bob

If you're handy, not afraid if a sewing machine, and have time on your hands you can do it yourself

If not, ask around your local area for someone that does stuff like classic cars. Small fry type shops are best. Something like this in cloth i would guess should run less than $500 if your foam is in good shape.

If the seats are original you'll definitely want to replace the foam. When I was considering my seats I looked at recovering vs buying new. Ended up buying brand new FlexSteel seats from Brad n Hall in Elkhart In. We were on our way to a Classic Motorhome Get-Together out east and stopped on the way. They had seats that matched perfectly in their show room. I installed them right there in Elkhart and they disposed of my old seats. All said n done I don't think I paid much more buying new than I would have reapholstering the old. Maybe a couple hundred.

If you do end up recovering and replacing the foam, get the foam specs from Bob Miller. His seats, are amazingly comfortable.
