Well our trip is coming to the end. We have reluctantly started for home . We left Tuson Az on Tuesday morn drove as far as Deming Az we drove through a couple of snow squalls before Deming . We got into a campground as the over nite Temp got down to 27 degrees.

Wednesday nite we stopped in a rv park in Vanhorn Tx the temps were a little better nite temps were in the mid 40s daytime high 60s.

Tonite we are in Junction TX about a 100 miles west of Austin TX at a flying J travel center. Trying to stay south as long as possible to stay in the warm temps.
Might stay around Austin TX for a few days until the weather to the north settles down a bit.

So far it has been a great trip the coach has been running great. And we have seen and done a lot of things . Already looking forward to next winter

shepherd57 -> This is a really bad time to drive back to Ontario. In addition, here are some nasty storm warnings. That's why I don't head north until the beginning of April.

Careful heading up 69 John, it's pretty torn up
I'm hearing there's a bridge being redone around Anderson that's claiming a few dozen tires a day

100+ kph winds, (120+ closer to the lake) up here as a major cold front is moving through today and tonight....my fabric car shelter may end up in Kansas before the night is out........what's left of it.

Cheers

Glad you had a good trip. We will be heading out that way in about a month, to escape the heat.

Take your time....pretty well every road closed north of Toronto; 70+ car pile up on the 400 just south of Barrie. I didn't go to work today, but went to my 9am dental appointment, only to be told the dental people didn't make it in. At least eight white outs in that 20 minute round trip, with four of them including plowing through 2' drifts.

Worst storm in a long time; didn't help it rained this weekend; then flash froze; so there's no holding the snow on the ground in these high wind conditions.

Keep a watch on the weather.
Cheers

John - if you head back thru Oklahoma, I have a flat driveway and a plug in for ya's in Tulsa. I know we haven't met but welcome mat is out. You can look over our 310 and heck I'd even let ya stay and help me work on it! I hope to make it to a get together soon to meet some of the Classic folks on here.

Well shoot Dave we aprecate the offer unfortunately we are already in Blytheville Ark on our way home. But you can bet we will be coming through Tulsa on our way out west in Dec. And we will be sure to look you up.

Maybe you will have your coach finished and can join us in Az for a couple of months.

We hope you will.
Can't quite be gone for that long just yet. A year from now - who knows.
Have a safe journey on home.
