Anyone parting out a classic Airstream Motorhome

I’m desperately looking for some parts for my 1992 Airstream 350 LE. I recently got rear-ended and the plastic bumper was destroyed. Does anyone know of anyone who is parting-out a classic airstream motorhome. I don’t think the year or model matters very much. All the bumpers look the same, and I’m sure i could make it fit soomehow. Any info would be appreciated.

Cheers!

How badly destroyed? No chance of fiberglass repair?

There was a fellow in Galveston selling bumpers. eBay seller isletom (I think). The banana wrap is problematic. Look at Steve’s fabrication work on those

Maybe worth sending a PM to Jonathan (http://www.airforums.com/forums/memb...nry-18455.html). He was parting out a 345 at one point and had offered parts to others.

I think there maybe one new rear banana wrap at Brad's that was to be used for Peanut (but Ernie re-built the damaged ones)......I said I think.

Martin, you are correct. There is one new drivers rear banana wrap sitting up in the barn.

Brad

I was able to buy banana wraps for my 345 at Island RV in Riverside, CA. They have quite a few factory replacement parts in stock...

Hey,
I. Dabbling with the idea of making a front bumper to match my killer rear bumper. If you can't find a bumper, I may part with my front one. They are both the same size, except for the mounting holes. The front is wider. You would get the complete bumper with the push braces.
Let me know, ok I'm still thinking about it,

Does anyone have an outside trim piece for the rear wheels, for a 325. Mines missing. Got the inner. Want a mint one. .
Thought about making wheel skirts for the AS. To match. My 50 caddys skirts.
How cool would that be. Then I could use trim from a AS trailor tandem axle.
Thanks DJ

If I were them, I'd make an offer pronto unless you want to A) Wait years B) Try and fabricate one yourself!

Nick

PS Great result, unexpected. Watched it. Top quality I thought, given that it was away from home of the recent run of form. Anderson looks good. See youse soon. x

FYI: Inland RV website is down. Yelp says they're closed.

SAD!

I believe Andy retired, but I thought someone took it over.

Posting pictures of the damage would be a help to us when offering advice. As Boomsounds said, I’m knee deep in replicating the plastic wraps in Aluminum. Of course, I chose to do the front first, which is smaller, but a lot harder!

Yelp is saying they are “closed today” which makes perfect sense. They do not work on Sunday.
I just ordered some propane system parts from them, got exactly what I wanted, and it was shipped and delivered well before promised. One of Andy’s long time employees took over the business.

Got a 404 when I attempted to access their website...now, there is a Maintenance mode site showing.
Good to know there's still a resource.
