Any ideas for a new gas tank

This last summer on our vacation we developed a leak in our gas tank (1985 345 motorhome). We had it repaired but it is continuing to slowly leak. We need a new or used tank. Any suggestions or ideas much welcomed.

Check with a local radiator shop as they often do fuel tank coating as well. They typically clean out your original tank, then apply some sort of coating on the inside & outside. They are often guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle.

Kandace,

We have an 86 345 that we are parting out and the gas tank is still installed. I do not know the condition of it but can take a peak if you're interested.

Good morning! I had a similar problem, you may have them just check the rubber filler hose from cap to tank, that seems to be problem on mine, Have not found a new replacement yet! Jonathan

Hi Brad, excited to get your response. Has the 345 been used recently or has it been sitting idle for some time. We would like to get more information- do you have personal email or contact information so that I or my husband could contact you to set up a time to come down and take a look. I don't know if you have awnings, radiator overflow tank, fridge, we could have a long laundry list- My personal email is klgeller7@aol.com.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
