So after a big push over the last few weeks to get it ready for this weekend, I went to take it for tires today and did not make it. The list includes: new plumbing, fixing a hole in the floor, re- flooring the whole thing, resurrecting the genset, rebuilding the carb, and a massive steam cleaning top to bottom, front to back. It’s either the electric fuel pump, the relay, or the ignition switch. So tomorrow morning I’ll replace the fuel pump with the same edelbrock I put on the 325, with corresponding relay setup, and hopefully that solves it. Tires are postponed til next week, so looks like a boating weekend. What could possibly go wrong....

Never, ever ask what could possibly go wrong. You just threw the gauntlet down, and believe me, the Universe will promptly pick it up and slap you with it—usually with great force, delivered dead on to the tender bits. Really bad move....

It was really more of a joke, if you could have experienced the battle with the motorhome I had today it would make more sense...the boat has twice as many things to go wrong, so I’m really hoping I took care of the bad stuff with the motorhome today....

Very nice work. Are you happy with the floor? I intend to undertake a similar upgrade over the winter.

Years of helping my dad maintain the boats he captained cured me of ever wanting to own one. He always claimed boat owners were only happy two times in their lives. Once when they bought the boat, the next when they SOLD the blasted boat..

The Airstream is complicated enough, thank you very much!

I like the flooring, it’s Pergo, waterproof laminate. The plan for the Moho is to paint the cabinets grey, and replace the doors and drawers (my neighbor is a cabinet maker), and eventually reupholster it when she chooses all the colors....

This past weekend managed to drain and flush the gas tank then put 20 gallons of fuel from this decade, what a difference that made. Today got the lights installed in the ceiling, tomorrow the fridge. After the last push I managed to get an infection that took me out until just this past week. Now to catch up for lost time.

Same 12V led recessed I used in the 325. The boss wouldn’t let me put mouse fur on the Al so just have the plain, but it’s what she likes so...

Last week’s push included fluid changes on the trans, GV (Lucas 75w90), fuel pressure regulator, new carb (guaranteed carburetors), both fuel pumps (edelbrock in back), and all the ignition components. Ran great out to Big Bend with a strong headwind. Maintained 65-70 the entire way, so did well.Click image for larger version

And now a 345LE?

I need to move a 360 from Boulder Co to Michigan. Having a hard time finding the right transport. Who did you use? What do they call that rig. Every time I’ve posted a very specific request to the online transporters, I get inundated with bogus offers demanding a credit card number to make a reservation. Having a hard time finding a legitimate transporter.

This was a Landoll Flatbed. Look for a heavy equipment hauler to go that far, but if you ask for a Landoll, and tell them what you need it for they should understand. I had several companies that wanted to help with a heavy wrecker, but I didn't want to deal with the Tag axle in any capacity, so found these folks out of Austin (austex Towing). Might PM Peter, as he just went through this getting the 350 from Florida to Austin....

PM sent to Kota about transport company.

Bill, you were lucky to find that kind of transport. A far cry of what I had to deal with when the 350 arrived in Austin
