That's why I bought a molded fiberglass Oliver.

Even an Oliver has sewer vents and a TV antenna and an a/c unit and windows and doors-
But it doesn't have 4,000 rivet hiles and 400 seams...

Ya, but its fun to pick on the Harley cult. The oil leak thing always strikes a nerve!😉 I won't say what AMF stands for!

When I was at Lowes two days ago getting new carpet padding and tack strips, I was going to get this boot mat to keep my boots "dry" inside the motorhome during the rainy season...you know, while the carpet is soaked! LOL

Looks like a Shasta, very cute....

I was looking for either a Shasta, a Kenskill, a Streamline, an Avion, or an Airstream (thought I couldn't afford the AS - we got a great deal).

That is our brand new 2015 Shasta Airflyte 1961 reissue. We just got it last month after waiting almost 4 months after placing the order. Shasta is only making 1941 of them. Most were pre-sold and the rest are now showing up at some dealerships. We were thinking about buy a new AS but this was a 3rd the price of a 16 foot Bambi. Plus its under 2500 lbs.

Saw one on the road the other day. Very cute and retro. I'll keep the AS, however...

Is it retro on the inside, too? I've seen some trailers with retro exteriors, but the interiors look like any modern trailer.

Why would a company that makes bowling balls think it could make motorcycles? Kinda like the Beatrice Airstream years-
.

We love our Airstream and have no plan on selling it. Our sway bars swing both ways!

Good humor here and I get the "toung in cheek" attitude. However as someone who is seriously considering a new Bambi Sport 16, I am surprised and very worried that leaks seem to be so common that they are a subject of jokes. Is this really the case with these trailers. Reading this forum is cause to reconsider our decision. Any thoughts for my wife and I?

Thanks

I haven't received a return call from the factory yet on my lifetime leak warranty. I guess I'll have to wait til after the holidays now.

We had one heck of another storm here in California last night. Rained or should say down poured for 6 hours straight. Dash was dry but stove top was wet. Water dripped out of the light over the stove. I think it is from the A/C "drip pan" that's cracked.

When the call comes in from the factory, I'll also ask if new Airstream trailers leak or if it is just these 30+ year old Classics with over 100,000 road miles on them! Wink wink!
