Not sure it is almost complete anymore....I think all the windows have gone (I bought the complete set across the back, and I know others bought the passenger side sliders). They may still have the drivers cockpit and the parts for the 30in slider that Tap is chasing, but the frames may not have survived the crash (it got hit hard on the drivers side).

The seller is Jerry Stritecky and his business partner is out of Rocky Mountain Truck Parts (http://www.rockymountaintruckparts.com/). I dealt with RMTP direct to do the deal for the panos/center window and frames.

I bought the fixed portion of a slider for my passenger side (that I think came off the driver's side of the salvage vehicle). I was under the impression that it had been hit midway on the passenger side, and knocked off the frame?? Hopefully the drivers window is good.

Jon, new front windshields are still available new. They run somewhere around $750 per side. The gasket is around $300 or so.

Check out Airstream Supply. They lists the windows and I think they sell the gasket as well although I couldn't find it just now looking at their site.

Not yet Brad.

Because I am getting the windows and frames (I believe rough cut out of the surrounding body) they are having to be freighted on pallets and could only be received at a location with a loading dock and fork-lift.

I already have the other windows still over at ASNE (hopefully including the two fixed windows for you) so having them dropped there. The company shipping our stuff back to the UK is arranging crating and loading from there.

I guess that is the point I was trying to make Brad. The screens actually are available direct from Airstream and can be dropped shipped direct from Coach Glass (their supplier). If you can do that why bother with (crating and shipping) my used one even though it is 'free', especially as like all older screens they have started to fog?

Rough cut is definitely the fastest and easiest.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed

By the end of next month I will also have my complete 28ft Argosy donor to get rid of. Apart from the windows, dash (I have already promised that to Joseph) and some trim, that is pretty much complete (including bumpers) I am just not in a position to part it out. If someone wants to get it hauled away they are welcome to it!
Knowing that a new windshield is $750 and yours is used and fogged.
I'm still interested in what the total cost would be to ship it to me

I had Airstream quote replacing my two windshields a couple of weeks ago. Their quote was an approximate price with $1200 per side and $500 installation per side. They did not have the gasket.

I had Airstream supply two new screens last June, Gunter, and paid $1500 total (including shipping) for both sides; that doesn't include installation. I can't believe they would go from $1500 to $2400 in 8 months.

The quote I received was from Airstream, Jackson Center. I almost purchased the windshields when Airstream Supply had their 30% sale which would have made the price a little over $500 each. I could not find a suitable installer in this area or I would have purchased them. I asked Jackson Center if they would do the install if I supplied the windshields, they declined.

Interesting, my local Airstream shop installed mine, actually they have taken them in and out of Bella and the donor several times. Bella shipped from Florida with two 'new' screens installed (and gasket). In shipping the drivers side got cracked so ASNE swapped the donor drivers side into Bella. However the tint across the top was a different color and and it was fogged. I couldn't get a drivers side to match the passenger so swapped out the pair. Means I have the fogged drivers side loose, the marching fogged passenger side in the donor, and the new but different tint passenger loose. The donor also has the drivers screen that arrived cracked. I want to keep the good passenger side for emergencies. The fogged passenger side goes with the donor.

These swivel chairs are in storage in San Antonio TX. Anyone interested? We'll be back in TX come June. $25 each? $40 for both? Just a little money we can sink into the gas tank or something else on our Airstream.

I like those chairs Pammie Sue. A fun fabric would add some sizzle.

Unfortunately I'm in PHX not TX but you'll have no problem getting rid of them.

For the money you want for them I personally would keep them...they are not replaceable and will add value to your motorhome when it comes time for the next "caretaker". Regards, Bob
