Airstream 250 promo (in German)

The strangest things turned up today. I bought this in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, England. It's going to be framed and popped on the wall. Original 1991 German advert for the 250 classic.

Airstream has nothing in their archive on this model, it wasn't ever part of the series literature, there was no manual for the 250. Someone once told me it was made by the commercial division.

My latest theory, it was primarily a special order model for Europe, which was why it also came with the 6.2 diesel option. This didn't stop some 250s being sold with gassers in the US, but not many were made for either marketClick image for larger version
