Accelerator Pedal

I just finished putting a holley sniper efi system on my 34.5. Wow. More power and better milage. Went to 8.5 mpg from 7. I pulled a hill at 65 that normally takes 2nd gear. I am amazed. The reason for my post is my accelerator pedal is broken. Does anyone know where i might find one??? If anyone wants particlars on install of sniper let me know. Did i mention instant starts.

A few quirks. You have to add an O2 sensor. It requires removal of a small pcs of exhaust heat shield and drill a hole in exhaust pipe to and bung for O2 sensor. Most of the 454s have a quadrajet carb so need a conversion plate for the newer square pattern. Have to modify the accel linkage a bit to get a straight pull but not bad. The coolant sensor is a bit of a problem also because of shroud but we got around it. There is a display that needs to run into cockpit but easy to do. The display gives you rpm, temp, air to fuel ratio and voltage. The price was $1350. A new quadrajet was about $450. I went for it and a believer. Power, Milage, display and instant start.

Here are a couple of photos of sniper installed. I have about 250 miles on it. Huge difference in power. My favorite is the instant start.Click image for larger version

Hi. Sorry could not figure out private post so did quick reply for cesalie2. Yes i used stock manifold for install of sniper. Have to use adaptor plate as i think old carb is quadra jet and new sniper is sq pattern. It acts as riser but only modestly so no problem with aircleaner and vaccuum tubes. Yes i have stock exhaust. Had to cut a small hole in exhaust heat shiel to get o2 sensor. You can mount o2 on either exhaust run.
