475 transmission kick down switch

Hi, I also looked at the transmission today. It looks pretty simple from the outside.
I followed the P30 manual to reset the kick down switch. it needed some WD40 to allow it to be 'pressed down fully flush at the top ' into the reset position.
I don't think it's working as when i tested it with the pedal floored there was no voltage and no continuity. Is there a fuse blown or is this correct?
Where can I source a new switch if it faulty?
The combination of changing down and the secondaray butterflies opening must be something to behold?
I did not take it on the road due to all the other fun things to be done

If you can't find an OEM switch, it is a simple momentary contact switch, normally off.
