I believe that I am finished with the AC wiring re-do.....did I say that ??? As it turns out doing the 30 to 50 amp conversion resulted in removing about 30 feet of unnecessary wiring, removing 2 circuits and adding 3 new ones. The DC wiring should be completed next weekend and I'm just about finished stripping the generator down for cleaning and inspection.

I picked up the radiator and the AC condenser from the shop today. Waiting on the rubber isolater mounts and hope to get them installed in the next 2 weeks. Shooting on finishing the electrical and left side plumbing on Saturday and Monday. I am taking Sunday off for obvious reasons !

I believe that I am now almost finished with the AC electrical work....just have to re-route the positive and negative cables back into the electrical compartment. Today I would like to tackle the left side plumbing which is a lot harder than the right side. I really need to start cranking up the work now....most of the new parts are in...still waiting on the steering box to come back from MO. Will post the plumbing pictures tonight. Regards, Bob

Looking great Bob, as usual. I may have missed one of your earlier posts but sounds like you sent off the steering gear box to have it rebuilt?? If that's the case, is it because you couldn't source a new one? Ill be very interested in seeing as much as you can post on changing out the steering box. Eventually Ill probably be doing mine, not for a while yet I hope. Great work buddy, that's going to be one heck of a coach!

I put in a solid 10 hours today, the power steering box has been rebuilt and is on it's way back to me, $540.00 which includes shipping and insurance both ways. Removed the toilet always a pleasant job....never know what you're going to find !!! Finished most of the left side plumbing, re-assembled the generator, installed the interior black tank flush valve and wait for it.....I am still not finished with the AC wiring....one more screw to remove, I appear to have an expert watching over me to make sure I don't electrocute myself...thanks Lance, I really appreciate it. Nick, the extra spigot is so that I can flush the black tank out from inside the motor home with a 3' garden hose and the plastic wand, the ball valve is so I can shut the water off to the toilet so I have full pressure for flushing. And no, Lance did not visit....he just has a keen eye. Regards, Bob
