The rear ride height is determined by the adjustments on the tag axle. The tag axle is a torsion axle with a limited amount of travel up and down just like the trailers and the 325, 345, 350 and 360 series classic motor homes. The mid point of travel of the tag axle is where the frame is exactly 27” from the ground. When the rear is jacked up the drive axle has more up and down movement because it is not a torsion axle. Thanks Bob, for explaining the different set-up. Again, I like that it doesn't dump the rear bags when using the levelers, which in my opinion is a huge waste of resources.

My HWH dumps all the bags before extending the jacks in auto mode. I usually run it manually and extend the jacks just enough to stabilize it and minor leveling. You can manually push the dump button and just take it down part way.

Gonna hit Charly’s (Streamquest) next weekend. I’ve been promising for a while and since my sister cancelled thanksgiving I have 3 free days. We’re going to de-emission his 460 like I did to mine, get rid of the Dura-spark ignition and install a GM HEI 1 wire set up. If we have the time we’ll also install the 1 wire 200 amp alternator set up.......he’s been thinking about the E4OD but I need more time for that. Maybe I can get him to cruise with me to Arkansas next October.....it’s pretty cool seeing 2 370LE’s going down the road together. Regards, Bob

Sounds like a good way spend the holiday! A break from tradition! We will probably eat and drink too much while watching the Lions get their ass kicked.

My back hurts just looking at the pictures. Great work guys. Brings back memories of my youth. I can remember combing my hair after such work stints and getting grit, grease, parts of gaskets and other unidentifiable material on the comb and floor. I usually had to throw the clothes away as my mother would not allow them near the washing machine.

I think you are both infected with Covid-370, so quarantine is in order.
What happened to the paint on Charley's 370? It looks naked.

You guys are animals!
Good to see Charley is doing the job right. At least in my opinion. I see a drag race at the next get together.
I’ve been busy getting the place ready for winter. Bunch of work to do on the 94 360 when I get it in the heated shop. What are your covid Christmas plans! [emoji6]

I installed the new water manifold this morning, no leaks. The water pump works great, holds pressure at 40 PSI while the shower is running. I need to install another new liquid filled gauge on the city water inlet feed so I can see the pressure coming in while hooked up to city water, why ??? Just something else to look at. Regards, Bob Attachment 1

I always use a pressure regulator at the faucet, not interested in seeing 90 psi entering any section of my onboard lines

That is actually true, so in the meantime I'll keep the pressure around 40psi
