The 370LE model is the Gillig commercial bus chassis. The 345 is a Chevrolet P32 chassis. A completely different breed of cat. The 325LE that I also own, that engine comes out the front. Regards, Bob

The 370 may look like the rest of the classics but is a totally different chassis and drive train.

Dashboard in ! More wiring out, removed the Magic (useless) box that controls the idiot lights, or at least it was supposed to. Removed all of the original remnants of the obsolete cruise control....will be going with a digital one this summer. The wiring looks crazy, but it is organized chaos. Click image for larger version

I was kidding, the Delco set up is clean, just add key power, and your good to go, also tach hook up. Depending on the age of the dist you can get the advance curve adjusted with weights and the diaphragm is adjustable thru the vac port

Moving forward, the final template is done for the new dash, now that it is installed, front end to be reinstalled this weekend. Weíre going to start the engine March 28, 2 weeks behind schedule...... not bad considering the additional work that had to be done. Regards, BobClick image for larger version

I got the shop all cleaned up today and the front end is now in position to be installed. I dropped off the back-up camera box to my upholstery guy so it will match the rest of the dashboard. All of the switches are done and ready to be installed in the new dash.Click image for larger version

Iím burning the wick in both ends now....came up with a great idea to wire in the oil pressure/oil temp/cylinder head temp sensors all in the same loop ! The exhaust/driveshafts/air parking brake all reinstalled. The dashboard should be finished this weekend. I got the overhead box that houses the stereo/back-up camera back from the upholstery shop today. More pictures to follow tomorrow. Regards, Bob Click image for larger version
