I feel like I've been circling the drain while I've been waiting for parts for the 370LE. The new 200 amp alternator is now installed with the correct pulley, as well as the new 200 amp battery isolator. All new 1 gauge wiring/ends/fireproofing heat sleeves installed. New 4 gauge primary wiring to the air compressor under the front bumper as well. The JERK that I ordered the R/S exhaust manifold from said he sent it on 09/03/18 and that I would have it 09/10/18 never showed.....all I saw was a refund on my credit card on 09/11/18. After I threw him under the bus on EBAY, I accused him of sitting in his parents' living room in his underwear selling parts that he did not have in stock.....So Wens. 09/12/18 I called in a personal favor to Dorman Products and had the new manifold delivered to my NAPA store last night. I plan on finishing up on Sunday and take it out for a road test before Pennwood. I will catch up with more pictures over the weekend, I have just had "0" time over the last few days. Regards, Bob

Going to the "Get-Together" was a pretty dam good trip....DRAMA free. The Hydro-Max is still leaking....I didn't think it would fix itself but it is coming out after Cooperstown next weekend which will be my last trip for the season. I will be in New Hampshire this weekend for Saturday night, coming back home Sunday afternoon. I'm trying to get Charly to meet me Sunday morning, but he has been polishing his 370LE all summer and I don't think he wants to take it out of the garage.....Other than losing my AM/FM antenna on I 80 heading east on Monday I had no problems....I have already installed my spare and ordered a replacement. My diesel install looks like it's still a year off so I may throw a 4R100 transmission in the 370LE over the winter.....I need to get more speed on the highway, I'de be comfortable with 70 but 55 definitely sucks.....I feel like I'm always in the way. I am getting ready to order the washer/dryer and will be pulling the entire kitchen out for the re-do this winter as well as the dashboard for a complete gauge re-do as well as switches and a better electrical distribution system. Ordered up 2 Grote LED replacement headlights and will let you know how they work. Regards, Bob

These are the LED headlights that I have chosen to go with. They are manufactured by Grote and are definitely DOT compliant. I have decided to install the first set in my work truck because I drive that almost every night. Installed the first one last night and the difference is night and day....I will definitely be installing these in the 370LE over the winter and they look pretty dam cool to boot. I cannot run the risk of running the non-DOT lights in the work truck because I am subject to DOT random inspections and don't need the point violations on my license. Regards, Bob

Ahh....back in Cooperstown for what appears to be the last outing of the season......well, plenty to do over the winter, should have a baseline of a plan over the next week or so. I hooked up the cell range booster and it does in fact work quite well. Although I tried it at Pennwood a couple of weeks ago I forgot that you had to have a signal to boost ! At Pennwood there is no signal at all. Here at Cooperstown you get 1 maybe 2 bars, good for phone use but does not work well for streaming movies. Being that I like TCM, I also like the woods and the satellite does not work through the trees. I now have 4 solid bars and absolutely no buffering of the movies ! I will permanently install the system over the winter, run the antenna on the roof behind the rear air conditioner, and hide the base unit either in the overhead cabinet or in the TV stand below, Regards, BobClick image for larger version

ID:	324608These are the torches that I saw at Pennwood.....at night they look like they are burning.....I had a lot of comments on them last night.....Amazon, they are solar powered, charge by themselves, turn on by themselves and stay on all night....Amazing, Regards, BobClick image for larger version

I had the fleet out Sunday to do the fall cleaning before winter, the 325LE started right up and it havenít run in a year, same with itís 6500 generator. The 396XL is also in great shape, ran and exercised the generators for an hour, washed and put away for the winter. The baseline is all set for the 370LE, and the front end is already up in the air, the first thing out will be the Hydro-Max, going to Texas for repair, next will be the transmission, then the fuel tank, dashboard, etc. Regards, BobClick image for larger version
