Demand that Bob put a real diesel into it first Mike; a Cummins or Isuzu inline 6 will do.

Cheers

Better note to self:

Disconnect shore power cable, and disconnect inverter 12 volt input from batteries...

Keep in mind you are working INSIDE a grounded metal can...and electrical cooking is a slow, painful death...

I think the black granite countertop, dinette table, and TV stand are really going to set off the interior this winter. I may even do granite on either side of the bed in the rear. Iím not sure about the bathroom vanity but one thing is for sure.....a larger sink and the offset faucet drives me crazy every time I use it. When Iím in Jackson Center in 2 weeks Iím going to purchase the electric dinette pedistal that Iíve been wanting for a while....,canít forget my checkbook...,,Iím sure thereís a large Sodomy fee on that. Regards, Bob

Not bad for a mid-summer project....the one thing that I have learned is that my projects usually take twice as long as originally thought, part in reason because I improve on them as I get 1/2 way through the project and unexpected delays.....it would be hard to charge someone for a project without the experience of doing it at least once before. Also the 3 rules of life that I live by are.....Anything worth while takes longer than it should, costs more than it should, and is more aggravating than it should be, Regards, BobClick image for larger version

Certain things I just donít do, because Iím in the business I have a lot of experts that I can pick from. My friend Ben Cramer, owner of Capital Tint in Albany, NY opened today for me to tint the front windows of the 370LE. Iím going with extremely dark on the slider to cut down on the heat load and a lighter tint in the fixed windows that I look at the mirrors with. I have about 5 shops to choose from and he is the best. Regards, BobClick image for larger version

I ordered up a cellular signal booster not so much for the phone but for streaming my TCM usage. Many thanks to the boys at Verizon for steering me in the right direction, I will be installing this system in about 2 weeks and will let you all know how it performs, Regards, Bob

Talk about extremes in weather, as soon as I left the shop this morning at 8:00 AM it started to rain, in did not stop until 5:01 PM when I backed back into the shop and the sun came out...LOL. I did manage to get the 370LE over to my buddy Tony Bollackerís shop, he is probably the best at aluminum fabrication in the Capital District. I stopped in back during the winter and talked to him about making a new wider generator door for me, well pictures donít do it all so he was able to see it today. Thumbs up on the new door over this coming winter. The new diesel generator is about 11Ē wider (longer) so I have to fabricate a new box and door/frame, I want it to look factory and there will not be a problem doing that.

Ive thought quite a bit about having that same tint done on my bypass windows. Ive been concerned about scratching the tint material as you slide the window forward. Hope it works for you because I'd really like to have that done. The sun can be awful coming in that window on the road, plus the heat.

That tint looks good, looks like it matches the rest of the windows as well.

What cell booster did you go with? The unlimited verizon plans are all black-market only now, and not cheap at that.

One of my buddies was able to pull my trigger again......the subject of water pumps.....let it be known by all, I have said this before and I will say it again. SUREFLO sucks, their customer service sucks and their warranty sucks, even their products suck and all you have to do is take one apart and you will see why they suck....in my opinion for what itís worth I was so pissed off with they flow rate of all 4 of my Airstreams that I removed all the Sureflo pumps and replaced them with SeaFlow pumps...,made for boats...,,problem solved, Regards, Bob
