345 interior components available

Just a heads up, we have the couch, twin seats & cabinet, and dinette with table available from a 1986 345 for sale. The color is Mauve. Also available are the Mauve colored interior cloth panels used throughout.

Send me a PM if interested.

Brad

Mauve

I'm in the process of a total interior redo on my 86 345....ultra leather with laminate tile flooring and a concrete countertop with a residential sink.We looked at an 86 with a mauve dash and that killed the deal....by the way I did away with the kitchen cooktop and built a outdoor kitchen....wife wanted more counter space and we never cook inside.Good luck with your redo!Pete

switch

Brad

Do you have one of these on-off-on switches floating around in your 345 spare bin?

Thanks
Andy

Do you still have any of the mauve interior pieces available? What I am looking for is a small section of mauve carpet measuring 16 inches by 78 inches or larger to replace a badly stained piece at the foot of my bed. Thanks in advance!

Brad has been AWOL for a while, and emails to him go unaswered.
I hope he, and his family are good, and he is back soon!

I suppose better late than never. Yes the carpet is intact and I think is in reasonable condition. I should be able to come up with a section sized as you requested.

Life has gotten kind of weird lately so my responses might be slow but I can definitely help you out.

Send me a PM with your contact information and we'll go from there.

Brad

Well, I realize financially this is probably barely going to be worth the effort on your end but you would at least get the good feeling of knowing you helped out a fellow Airstreamer. I took photos and noticed the upright carpeted piece that covers the fuel tank filler inlet is stained as well, looks like a dog might be the culprit now that I see this... Anyhow, looks like I will need slightly more carpet than I originally requested due to this but another 10"X16" scrap would cover it. The only other mauve piece I can think of that I need is one of the button covers off the cloth covered wall also at the foot of the bed. These buttons are used on the back of the dinette and other places as well. Let me know how much money you need for the items with shipping. If you have a PayPal account I can pay that way or send you a U.S. Postal money order. I am also looking for a square based living room wall lamp. I don't know if your '86 has the same lamp my '88 has (for that matter your mauve might not even match my mauve) or if that is something you even replaced on yours but I can't seem to find a new one with the right size/shape base to match the factory wood trim around mine and I imagine if I have to get the original lamp re-plated it's going to cost so much I'm going to want to cry... Thanks for your help. My interior is in great shape and with your help I might get it darn near perfect!

Hi Rob,

We went to VIR the weekend of 9th so Blackhawk was definitely out of the question.

If you're still interested in the two items we talked about last fall let me know. They are still available. I've had and will continue to have a busy travel schedule this year but we should be able to work something out.

Thanks,

Brad

I will be home a week from Saturday and will take pictures of the carpet in our 345. Ours has the east/west bed it it so I'm not sure about carpet sizes that would be available.

If this coach has the cloth and buttons they are definitely available.

Carpet and cloth pricing would just be my labor time to get them out and then shipping.

Our 345 does have a lamp but I don't think its shaped like yours. When I get home I'll check and possibly post a picture of it.

Unfortunately due to all that is going on right now I won't be able to respond quickly to any of this. Hopefully you'll bear with me and eventually we'll sort this all out.

Thanks,

Brad

Andy,

If all three switches are the same we could probably sell one of them.

The reason we bought the 345 was to use it as spare parts for our 310. My wife and I are basically planning to hang onto anything that is the same from 345 to 310. Anything that is 345 specific is definitely for sale. Other items that cross between the two might be for sale depending on what they are.

The real drawback for everyone concerned is the fact I just don't have a lot of time right now to deal with pulling parts, etc. I'm willing to do what I can when I can but anyone dealing with me right now is going to need to have patience

Brad

Thanks Brad,

I don't mind waiting and I totally understand. My bed is an East West bed as well but as far as the carpet goes you can cut me a piece from anywhere you can find a good clean section for all I care but it would also be fine to send the piece from the foot of the bed, just whatever works best for you. I'd be thrilled to get the button cover and carpet as for the lamp I can always have mine re-plated. I have a friend that owns a powder coating business, I've been meaning to talk to him and see how close a match to brass plating they can mimic with powder as that would be much cheaper I'm sure.

One last thing I thought of, does your coach have this table? I'd like to buy the bottom compartment door off of yours if you have it to cover the top opening where the TV use to set in mine. I just have a subwoofer for my computer speakers sitting in there now and think it would be cool to hide it. If you have it great, if not or if you want to keep it I understand. Thanks again for any help you can give.

Jason

Hi Brad

Time is not a worry as my list of 345 to do's is as long as both my arms and half my right leg
The switches by the door if yours are the same are two on-off's and one on-off-on. There is another on-off-on by the cook-top /spice rack which is whats missing on mine. I've put in a replacement but it doesn't fit the slot and hangs out all ugly looking. It's ok but if there's an opportunity to use paypal to replace it with an original I will. I totally understand if you want to keep a couple in your spares bin too.

Hope what it is keeping you busy elsewhere is something positive!

Cheers

Hey Brad, Are the blinds that are over the galley sink available? I'd love to work out a deal if they are.

Ricky,

My apologies, I never saw your post. My wife is transferring those blinds to our 310.
