Thatís WAY out of my comfort zone
But Iíd be more then willing to put my $40 down
(Iíve backed out of other rallies that were much closer to my Illinois home) I donít mind loosing the $40 down especially if I know I can pay it forward to a fellow Airstreamer 90% chance Iíll back out of it 😕
but that means thereís a 90% chance a fellow Airstreamer. Can save some $ (theyíll probably just waist that money on parts anyway&#128514

#9 goes to Grosspoluter with a 345 and a 90% chance of a no show. Good enough for me
The purpose of this exercise will be to leave your comfort zone (drive way)

I am currently looking at Monday Oct 11th 2021 - Sunday Oct 17th 2021.

Camping has become extremely popular and Arkansas State Parks allow reservations 1 year in advance.
The park I have in mind already has all of their 35 50amp/sewer sites reserved for that time frame.
Currently there are about 45 30amp sites available, however without sewer. Arkansas enjoys moderate temperatures in mid October, so 30 amp should meet our needs.

Once I visit the Park and find it to be suitable for a Motor Home gathering and the size of our rigs, I would have to move fast to reserve sites. I already have spoken to the Park Ranger and he will print out an availability site sheet for me when I arrive. I will be leaving Nov 21st 2020 and would appreciate attendance feedback by then.
A non-refundable $40.- commitment would be required once we start the sign up, which would not happen until I return after Thanksgiving. Once you pay the initial deposit AND are able to attend, you would also commit to the full 6 night stay (appr $240.-), regardless of which day you arrive or leave. Since plans and life changes, you could always cancel, but would loose your $40.- deposit. Or you could transfer it to someone else.

As of right now, I just need to get an idea of how many sites to reserve and pay for. No guarantees and/or commitments from me until I see the location.

We'll use this thread for head count and probably start a new one for the rally itself. Please use this format, if you would willing to commit (not pay as of now) to the initial deposit :

Sounds like fun... but then I can't attend. My Airstream Motor Home isn't aluminium. It's a 2001 Airstream. 30 foot Land Yacht
. Oh my....

We will be in the 345 but look for a long spot as our toad will be in a trailer rather than towed 4 wheels down. The trailer makes us 50'.

I believe #16 is "78703Tx" Michael and Ally-1983 31' Turbo Diesel

Pending location visit the week of Nov 23rd, the Head count is temporarily stopped.

By request, I am checking out some different locations that would give us 50amp/sewer. I found one place that has 16 sites available as of today, but I am hoping to get 25-30. Stay tuned

Vintage rally

We would like to visit the rally for a day. We live in south Missouri and often Airstream in Arkansas state parks. What is the location and good date to visit ? WBCCI/WBAC #4232. rjackgar@hotmail.com
