Me too - lol - Im going on Sunday to inspect and hopefully complete the purchase - I was glad to read that the ebay motors auctions are non binding (after the mess I got myself in with current one) I have a much better idea of what to look for now. No blinders on for this one.

It looks like the listing is back on eBay. Was there an issue with the coach? It looked great in the listing.

Well its a bit of a story - but I will share -

I had wanted to buy this 350 before but the guy was a bit deceptive in his story about the salvage title so I passed. I bought the 350 I have now which ended up needing a lot more work than I had hoped for. Fast forward to this auction and I figured heck I can get over the salvage title issue and it would be a better starting point then where I am. I placed a few bids - hit reserve and won the auction.

When discussing payment I said that I wanted to inspect the coach to be sure its as advertised first. I told him I would bring cash to complete the deal. He responded back that I was welcome to inspect it and pay cash but I should know its not a turn key coach. He starts with the dash ac blows warm. Then both roof ac's blow warm. The fresh water system has never been used so cannot be tested. Then he says its been in storage a long time and will need attention to get some things working again and my expectations for a fully function coach were not realistic. (even though he states they took a trip in it over Christmas) I replied that it would be important for him to disclose items that dont work in the auction (if you look now he discloses some of them and some new ones as well).

In the end my initial gut reaction is this seller is simply deceptive and not trustworthy so I took him up on his offer to end the transaction. I am still annoyed at all of this - I really like the look of that 350 - its the right color and appears to be in good shape but honestly who knows as some of those pictures are a few years old.

Unless you buy one from a reputable place, or one of us on the forum youíre in for a job on the rehab, totally done over theyíre worth $50,000 to $70,000 or better. If you find yourself in the $20,000 to $30,000 range theyíre going to need everything, trust me, I know, Regards, Bob

Wow thatís too bad. I was just wondering because the pictures make it look very nice, to the point of making me think about adding a 2nd to my driveway. Your experience cures me of that, thank you!

You are the master Bob - I had no issue with the items in particular but honesty to my is paramount. Had he just disclosed them up front I would have bid accordingly. As it stands Im just gonna keep plugging away on my 350 now.

It may be worth the $30k - I just dont like to play games - just be upfront and honest - is that too much to ask for ? Its one thing to not know ( like the guy I bought mine from ) its another to know and not disclose.

If they're lying about one thing who knows what else they're covering up, not worth it

I'll gladly overpay from someone honest before I'll take a good deal from someone shady

Well Iím back to the grind. Literally removing that subfloor from the wall and tracks is the most tedious job I could imagine. Hating it. Took a little break to work on my new entry step. The previous owner replaced the entry footwell with wood. Does anyone know if the original insert is available still. Iíve tried to search but maybe Iím using the wrong terms. It would be the piece that goes here. Click image for larger version

Scott,

I've looked a time or two for the plastic entry way section without success and I would be surprised if anyone is making a replacement piece.

If you do manage to find a replacement let us know where you found it!

Brad

Okay so the subfloor is finally out of all the wall channels in the bedroom. What a pain. Now on to cleaning up the frame and taking care of fuel lines and spare tire carrier rebuild.

How do you replace these with metal lines when you see there really is no space to run them. Do you drill through the frame and run metals lines that way? Hoping Bob Miller will chime in. Click image for larger version

Is there an easy way to make up spacers to space the tank down a quarter to a half inch?

Pretty sure those squished lines can cause problems

If you go back a page or two you will see where they were worse - it was causing all my running issues that I threw a ton of parts at. Ill have to check out the spacer idea - I want to replace the rubber lines with steel lines for sure.
