What a great group. Kind folks stopping by to get all dirty and greasy together whilst enjoying company, food, and knowledge sharing!

Yep, pretty much comes a standard option on all these old classics
On another note, the wife found some of these and bought us one. Although it's a 345 and not a 350, close enough for us. This is 500 of 500 made Click image for larger version

We found them on Airstreams site for their Heritage items.
Looks like we got some of the last ones, they are no longer available!

Did a little up date for the trans cooler. It's now under the radiator and just a skooch lower that the front air dam. Was thinking of putting a lower scoop below the dam, but looking at that big area blocking the air, decided to make air more direct to the cooler.

The fan can be turned on manually and also automatically with the temp switch going into the radiator, on at 180 deg, off at 160 deg.

Nice. I have the version that fits in front of the radiator. But I also do not have the AC cooler in there anymore.

Nice, Chris, you always come up with great solutions! Does that mean you still run the lines through the Radiator Transcooler?

I also installed the auto temp switch to control the fan with a manual over ride. Only once have a seen the fan come on automatically, even though the temp gauge at the same location reported 200++. so much about gauges...

Your welcome Peter.
Just a thanks for the beautiful art work you sent us.

Yes I still use the radiator, then the auxiliary cooler. My temperature switch is at the line going into the radiator. Click image for larger version

Got a little item for the front of the Zephyr.

It took 3 1/2 months to get it, thank you covid! Weather held up today to get it mounted and the rear neoprene isolators put on. It is a Hellwig 1 5/8" sway bar 7162.

This is an upgrade. The old bar is 1 1/8" with rubber isolators. The hellwig is 1 5/8" with neoprene isolators for the new front bar, and rear bar.

What will the heavier sway bar do for you? Just wondering if I should consider that on my 310.

This should help with windy conditions and passing big trucks. Will get out with her this next week and find out more. I think it should be a big improvement.

Before I started work on the front end of my 310, semi trucks passing in either direction was quite an adventure. In hindsight I probably shouldn’t have had it on the road on our first few trips. I remember trying to anticipate and time the steering correction for the passing trucks…..it was nuts. I installed new SuperSteer bell cranks, new shocks, new steering damper, upper and lower ball joints on both sides, sway bar bushings, new tires, new tie rods both sides, and got a top notch alignment from a truck shop. Passing trucks are no longer an issue but it was pretty crazy before. I’ll be interested in what you think of the improvement in stability once you get the beefier sway bars installed. I think high winds are always going to be a concern with driving these rigs on the highway. (does it ever stop blowing in Kansas?)
They are like big sails. I keep an eye on the wind speed before we take off in the mornings. When they get up in the 20mph+steady with gusts higher then that, I will stay put if need be. It’s only happened a few times, always in Kansas, either going or coming from out west.
