1991 300LE door lock- ever seen this one?

Add this to the list of things to fix...

I thought I had looked at all the forum threads on door locks as I know my deadbolt needs work, but the main door lock is not a Bargman L300???
The handle, lock and key mechanism look like they are working fine, but the latch? Part appears to be missing. Anyone know what this is?

Ok, looks like a Trimark 050-0200, and parts are available from them. I will post part number when I figure it out unless one of you know it...?

It appears as you are missing the part of your lock mechanism that is in the door half. I am not sure of make and model of the parts, but I was having challenges of locking the door when I first got my motorhome and had to drill holes and replace the bolts that were holding the door hinges to make is not sag. I posted some pictures on that project. I am lucky that the door, lock and controls from the dash all work. Hope this helps.

With lock installed. I think the previous owner removed the lock because the door was not lining up because of a crap hinge. Now I have a spare.

Thanks for your post, glad to get a part number for the latch/!lock! I thought I'd add part numbers for interior and exterior hardware. They are OEM replacements on my 1988 345 motor home:

Trimark Door Handle And Lock Assembly 11298-35-RH (interior side lock and latch)
TriMark series 030-0450 / part number is: 11812-37 (exterior latch)
