Entry step area

Steve,
This is what I have. After comparing photos, I feel fortunate area looks so good. Guessing that some other PI (Previous Investor) used some rust-proofing in that area.
Of course (last photo) my step isn't looking exactly brand new. Thought I had some leftover ABS pipe to make into a slurry, but no such luck.
Heading to the Home Depot if the Monsoon ever lets up to wear down the numbers on the credit card.....
Thanks, Derek

Why not just trim that out with bright aluminium stair nosing?

Hi Dave,
At some point soon, I'm replacing the hardwood from fridge to the driver's area. Thinking I'll use wood if I can't get the step area repaired.
Thanks for the idea, Derek

Thanks Derek!
Hey quick question...
On the door frame area... does your Black ABS step wrap over the extruded door frame or does it stop at the aluminum...
My step is cut off inside the motorhome, and does not roll over... therefore any wet or dirt that falls on the step is trapped, and any water ends up draining under the floor... if that makes sense!

Step area

Steve,
Mine is same as yours. Plastic step area stops at entry door frame. Seems like a huge design flaw. Wondering if something like what's used on car door frames would stop the water from seeping below plastic step, causing rust.
Too much fricking rain here for me to go back out for anything! We've had over 3 inches so far today! I'm done, time to 'veg' in front of tv till 'Debbie' is over!
Thanks, Derek

Ok, Thanks Derek.

Need to figure out how to make it better....

Can someone ID the name of this A&E Awning Leg Lock?

Mine is broken... the casting has a piece missing and as a result the pivot will not release the pin and the leg will not release to telescope...

Pic... you can see the casting is broken..

Need to get a replacement but no idea if its available..

We are back Paula!

Did a little bench work that night...

Drivers side wheel-well shield needed some TLC before I replace it...

2 broken off mounting bolts were drilled and Ez-outed...

Stripped, degreased, sanded, derusted...

Primed..

Steve,

Looks terrific!! You have done wonders with that coach, and the "polishers" among us can appreciate the effort that went into it. Congratulations on a great job!
