1980s Airstream 300

I just archived another Classic 300. I only have 4 in my archives over the course of 11 years.

I also browsed the library on the Airstream site and they don't even list a Classic 300 in the 80's.

I always wondered if those front facing sofas fold together for a bed!

Very nice!!!

I have been toying with the idea of removing the mouldings on my 310 to clean it up and I think this rig has made up my mind. I like the paint job (wait for it). At least somebody has taken some effort and dough to keep this Classic alive.

I especially like the 345 side lights front and back. I thought these were only available on the 345. If anyone has a set of these, I want them.

I have this 1982 24' unit. Do you have another one? If so, send me the pics and I'll add it to my archives.

The emblem on the sides actually say "300" and "310".

Why do I get this feeling that AS simply rolled the dice about what size to build a coach in a given month? Some of you might remember the letter I got from AS years ago concerning how many 310s were built: they had no clue.
