What size windshield wipers?
Hey Everyone, Can someone tell me what size wiper blades I need for my mh? It is a 77 or 78 Argosy 24.
Thanks for your time,

Our 82 AS uses a NAPA 60-2005. It is 20" and should be the same or close to what you need. They are heavy truck not auto wipers.
Good luck, Dan

When in doubt, I always just take an old wiper off and take it with me. In fact, I try to do that just about whatever I need to replace, but wiper blades are especially easy.

I just stopped by NAPA and the 60-2005 is too wide for my 1977 Argosy 20. NAPA did not have anything that would work.
I have the Trico arms and 20" refill blades. The quest continues.....

The correct blades should be Anco HD 52-20 wiper blades.

Napa 60-2070
Well after getting tires, I drove the Argosy over to NAPA.
They were able to pull up a blade in stock that works!
NAPA 60-2070
The Anco HD 52-20 mapped over to the NAPA 60-2005 that was too wide. I wonder if the Airstream motorhomes had wider blades than the prototype Argosy units. Then again, it seems that very few Argosy motorhomes have consistent parts! They seemed to evolve with each unit off the line.
Here are the pictures.

Fred, the Anco wiper blades are 20" wide. How wide were the Napa blades?

They are 20" long. I bet I could slide out the blade and put it in the existing blade assembly!
Here we are trying a save the planet yet we stop producing efficient refills and sell entire replacement blade assemblies. Progress? I think not.

For future information on wiper blades:
I have a 77 Argosy 20 and my mom has a 77 Argosy 24.
Both of these units came new with Trico arms and 20" wiper blades.
Modern Day part numbers for Trico are:
Replacement Wiper Blade Assembly: 64-201
Replacement Wiper Blade Refill: 72-200
I am sure that others also make equivalents that work.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but I am having a problem finding
replacement wiper blades for my '86 345.
Above they said that a Trico 72-200 would fit but it is too wide.
The metal carrier is .53 inches wide, the original is .495 inches wide.
The rubber blade is too big to move from one metal carrier strip
to the other.
In the old days you could bring the blades into an auto parts place
and match them up but they don't carry this type of insert anymore.
What blade insert do i need?
Also what is the tubing used for the window washer that runs up
the wiper arm? It is .147 inches in diameter. It is much smaller
than the tubing used for the engine vacuum lines. Any suggestions
here?
Thanks,
Pete.
