Spotted an Argosy in Lake forest, CA

Was driving to the vet today, around midday, and low and behold there was an Argosy MH sitting waiting to turn left onto Los Alisos BLVD, off Trabuco Canyon Rd!
My GF points and says, Wow, cool old MH there.
I just had time to snap a phone pic before the light changed and I had to go!
Hope it was someone here!

Steve,

Looking closer at the picture I think it's a 24' 77 or 78. At first I thought it was a 20' but there is an extra window on the side that I can't account for so I'm guessing it's a 24'.

Ha! That was me on the way to El Toro RV for service work. It is a 77 28'. I just added Brown compass rose graphics and will upload pics. Im in Mission Viejo in one of the few OC neighborhoods that allow RVs parked next to the house. Name of my rig is Time Traveler. Am stuck in the mid 70's w a RR Silver Shadow and Hodaka dirt bike too.

AWESOME!

We are up in Foothill Ranch and have a '84 345, that is "Under restoration".
Luck you if you can keep yours close to hand.
Mine is now out in Upland, where the spot is affordable!
Sounds like we have the starting of a local club! LOL

Lets see; classic Yankee motorhomes that require constant maintenance, check; classic British cars that require constant maintenance, check, classic bikes that you can't get parts for, check. You two will get along great!

Cheers
Tony

Got that right! Glutton for pain, but satisfying during those few moments when everything is running right. If I could only find a rebuilt carb for the bike...

Bought mine on eBay sight unseen a few years ago from a seller in Burbank. Got a great deal as he thought it might need a new differential due to a 'clunk' on some turns. Had it towed to my place. Turns out it was a scrapper wheel under the hitch would hit ground occasionally if rear air bags weren't yet filled. Cure was to idle till the compressor filled the bags. Finally decided to replace the leaking airbag. This is one of the things I had serviced when you spotted me on the return trip on Trabucco/Los Alisos - about a quarter mile from my house. Small world indeed.
