She's a '75 26 footer that was in need of a good home after sitting for a few years. The previous owner lost interest when his wife passed away and it's been sitting. He gave us a good deal and we named her after his wife, Ruby.
I finally got some before pictures of the interior. These are after reinstalling/rebuilding the head walls. I'm currently rebuilding the rear cabinet between the bunks so it's more functional. The main floor will be a vinyl tile that looks like bamboo and the helm deck will be carpet. The motorbox will be some combination of carpet, cushion and storage/drink holders. It's large enough for our lab to sit on when underway. The seats are out of something newer and are quite comfortable.
Thanks in advance for all the help and inspiration.
Very Nice!!! We also named our 68 after the PO wife, it was her love and we thought it was a great way to honor the PO that took such great care of her until they were no longer able.

Can you tell me... What brand of paint was it painted with? And how has it worked out, especially where the aluminum has flexed a lot (like if you walk on the roof).
It was painted in '04 by a previous owner. It's holding up well except for the top fading in the florida sun. One area above the front seats has surface rust that I'll need to tend to. I'm sure I'll eventually respray the top. The rest is fine though there is some aluminum corrosion showing in places.
Thanks everyone. We're doing our maiden voyage this weekend, a local camping trip with a club on a private 100 acre property. So far she has new tires, tune up , wipers, brake work, temporary carpet, tags and insurance, a good cleaning etc. It's been a lot of fun.
We were planning on driving to Illinois to visit family but after looking at air fares we're second guessing it. We could fly to Illinois for a long weekend and trailer our boat to the keys for the same or less money as the drive to Illinois. Plus the shorter trips will get my confidence up on the moho before doing a long haul.
