Rear outlets on a '77 24 foot rear bath

First time really using the "new" Argosy. The owners manual says there should be a 12v and 120v outlet to then right side of the bathroom window. Andrea and I are lost as to where they are. Anyone else have the same issue? Found the outlets?

If it's at all like my '73 26, they are up and to the right (when facing the rear) of the mirror...The 120v is immediately right of the mirror and the 12v is housed in the med. cabinet portion of it.

Jason I can't help you but if no one answers try NOHILLGRISH in Springfield MO or TAE in Clearwater Fl. They both have 77 Argo's 24 fters and have been active lately.

Rear outlets on a 77 24 foot rear bath

Greetings WineStream!

You might try looking behind the hinged vanity mirror. At least one of the two outlets is located behind the hinged mirror in each of my coaches.

Good luck with your investigation!

Kevin

Just a reminder: we're in a motorhome thread, not trailers. I'm not sure how similar they are.

My Airstream trailer has outlets on the under side of the cabinets. Not really possible in the Argy moho. I've attached a couple pics of the bathroom cabinet, side and under.

Looks like you're in a trailer thread to me. Clarifying that should help.

It's probably a good idea to mention motorhomes even if you are posting in the motorhome forums because they show up on the portal and it's not obvious you're talking about a motorhome unless someone remembers to checkout the forum at the top. I'll admit, I often forget. Motorhomes are way more unusual than trailers. Way cool, but still in the minority.

Good luck on locating outlets. While my 67 Trade Wind (trailer) has a 12v outlet in the rear bath, my 83 Excella (trailer) doesn't in its mid-bath. As much as things change from unit to unit, you may not have one.

Sorry, a mod moved my thread from the argosy moho area to the argosy trailer area. Hopefully it will be moved back soon.

My apologies, folks, although I read this complete thread through, I totally misunderstood that it was meant to be in the Argosy moho sub-forum. Here I thought I was helping by moving it.

I remember thinking that it wouldn't be the first time that an Airstream claimed minor feature wasn't there. IIRC, the owner's manual for my Sov says that there is a 120V outlet in the rear bath for shaving, not the case.

In any event, very sorry. Won't happen again!

Today I found a tandem 120v outlet in the curbside closet in the bathroom, which according to the manual shouldn't be there, but still haven't found the elusive 12v outlet in the bathroom.

On my '82 280 there is a 120V receptical in the bathroom closet, mine is street side, but I have not found a 12V socket yet.

Cheers, Dan

Winestream,
I have a 1977, 28' with a rear bath. I checked for the outlets that you mentioned and they were pretty easy to locate. My 120V is inside the med. cabinet w/the wires of the 12V inside also. The 12V outlet is on the underside of the cabinet. I'm posting a couple pics.
