Engine air flow

I read in someone's thread that the shrouds(?) that run between the engine bay and the wheel well need to be kept in place to direct air along the exhaust manifolds, and not escape into the wheel wells.

My panels are completely missing and you can see the sides of the engine from the wheel wells. I can see where metal panels were probably in place at one time, I'm guessing in order to direct air all the way back to the back of the engine.

Can someone remind me where that thread was?

Thanks!
