Is he looking to part with his?
I've always had my eye open for a 20.
The wheelbase is less than 1 inch different from the Excursion

Hoping not to end this thread. I am so indebted for the information that I have gleaned here.

The Insurance totaled Excursion is home. We drove it home and she rode as marvelous as ever. The body, however, is not repairable. My wife really loves having this monstrous SUV and nothing can take it's place. I could find an Excursion body donor, but I don't want her driving something like that. I travel for work and am not here to help. I'm likely flying to Seattle tomorrow to buy a replacement and drive it home to Florida.

I'm going to start another thread in hopes of finding a 20 footer Argosy. With only a .5 inches difference in their wheelbases (Argosy 20 & Excursion), it makes sense. It would provide everything but the manual tranny.

I'm making moves to find the 24 a new home in the process.

There is a dash from a 1978 (my parts donor) 'stored' in JM2's 1977 20ft in New Jersey in case we needed parts!

Martin,

I am wondering if you still have the spare 1977 dashboard available for sale? My Argosy is back on the road and I may be able to arrange to pick it up this summer.
Please contact me to discuss.

Thanks,

John
