Argosy MOHO questions

Can anyone tell me the AS ID tag location in the 20 foot MOHO?... I have seen reference to the dash and toe board areas, but still can't find it?.. (the dash in mine was replaced by someone that had a piece of plywood and a chainsaw).. I have found the G.M. vin tag, but mine is titled using the AS number.. also would anyone care to make a guestimate of how many 20 footers were built between 74 and 78.. Thanks, Joe

Joe,

The Airstream VIN tag is on the passenger side post inside the engine compartment. Its opposite the post that the GM VIN tag is on. It'll be painted over and if your engine compartment is dirty enough it might be difficult to see.

Is yours the 20' Argosy that was bought off of ebay and driven to Washington?

Susan and I bought the 20' Argosy that was in Eastern Tennessee. We trailered it home a few weeks ago.

Hope this helps.

Brad

Yes... that's the one... It runs and drives fine, but the ebay sellers description of everything else was, shall we say.. Less than accurate.. but "Oh Well".. on with life... Joe

Rivet Welcome the the Forums

Hi Joe,

Glad to have you. I look forward to photos of your new affliction. I met Brad and Susan for lunch in Little Rock yesterday. We had a great time and I look forward to a visit to see their collection.

Be sure and check out the classifieds here. It is where I found my ’83 34” Excella that I bought in January.

Vaughan
