Airstream 24foot Rv weight ?

Can somebody tell me then weight of a 1975 Airstream 24ft RV please thank you Harry

There was no 24 ft. in 1975. The 23 base weight was 3420lbs. the 25 ft. base weight was 4110lbs.

There were both Argosy trailer and motorhome versions of the 24ft in 1975.

As this post was to the motorhome section, I assume that was the ask....

Twin had a curb weight of 7800lbs
Double was a little heavier at 8200lbs

But note these weights are notoriously under quoted!

They both used the 12000lb chassis

Airstream RV weight

Thank you for giving me this info , the person who is selling it sent me this the id plate on the chassis . Does this mean it weighs 12500 Lbs ? Hope to hear soon Harry

No Harry, it means the maximum weights (total, front and rear axle, called GVWR, and front and rear GAWR) are 12500/5000/7500.

Below is the chart from the owners manual to explain more

You will see the maximum weight is 12500lb (5700kg) but the actual weight is the curb weight (between 7800-8200lb/3500-3700kg).

In Europe you will register the maximum weight (and need to make sure your driving license allows you to drive that maximum weight, ie your driving license needs to be for up to to 7500kg/7.5tonne to drive a 24ft).

Hmmm! My 74 24’ weighed in at 10,000 4700front 5300rear before 454/to 5.8 diesel now weighs 11000 full of fluids ie water and fuels
My dads 76 24’ weighs 10,000 stock with 454
