454 engine V belts

My 1977 Argosy motorhome recently "ate" the belt that operates the A/C and power steering. I have misplaced the belt number and my local mechanic is stumped. Is there a resource for the numbers and sizes of the belts for this engine?

Does your a/c have the a6 or r4 compressor, and is the compressor mounted at the top of the engine or just above the power steering pump?

Here's a link to a thread by bkahler. He lists the belts used on his 1984 310 with a 454. Maybe yours are the same. I know Brad's are different from my 1989 345.

We always ran a string around the pulleys then cut and matched to inside of new belt.

If u have old belt frags then take to NAPA.

I took a look on rock auto when I needed to replace parts. You need to read through the descriptions to find the belts for the motorhome chassis but they are on there. I then went to a local parts to buy the belt and used the rick auto number as a reference.
