Purchased new Road Side Window - Shattered sitting parked in my driveway???

Has anyone had this happen with a new window? Any chance there is fault in the product?

I bought this window from Andy at Inland and it's only been in for about 2 months.

While it's impossible for me to know if anything in my yard hit the window to cause it to crack, I really don't believe this to be the case. The last time I saw it in tact was Friday, and Sunday afternoon was in the position below.

Fairly sure I followed all steps in replacing it well, and there did not seem to be any really tight fitment when installing the new replacement window.

What has your weather been like? I have known tempered replacement auto glass to go all of a sudden in full sun when the weather is cold. Sometimes you can just get a piece of glass with a manufacturing defect that is not noticeable until the glass fails. How do you prove it? Dunno.

Buy another one...

Unless there is a known problem with it, like some notorious car sunroofs, it is going to happen occasionally. I have never had it happen (knock on wood!)
