Original hub caps, '70 Overlander.
We bought our first AS-a 70 Overlander and we're trying to figure out what the original hub caps looked like. Ours came with replacment baby moons but I've seen two other types of hub caps on similar year models or same year different models. Hoping someone has a picture so we know what we're looking for and any leads on where we might find them. I know it's a long shot but we'd really like to bring it back as much as possible.

Hi,
Welcome to the Forum by the way and sorry I didn't say so earlier. Take a look here and see what conclusion you come to. You can, on occasion, find original caps on Ebay, the Classifieds to the left and I've even seen them on Craigslist once. This site is also very helpful if you are trying to stay vintage as many of us do.
If your not already a member of the WBCCI and have a Unit - see the link below.

Another Welcome...........
.............from a fellow '70 Lander owner. Here is a pick of the original caps that came on mine.
My owner's manual confirms. Although banged up, mine might be available. One other fellow has first dibs.
Best,
Dumpster

Thanks for the pic! I've never had a chance to see those up close but I've seen pics of those cone type shaped caps and wondered. Let me know if they do become available. Thanks!

Thank for the pic of your moons-our rims are set up for moons but it came with cheap replacements. I might be interested in yours-let me know condition or email me more pics if possible.

baby moons
I'd be happy to pay shipping on the baby moons-I don't need the rims though. Email me at my gmail account and we can exchange contact info and arrange payment. rayjuaire@gmail.com
Thx!

Thanks! I've been keeping my eyes out for a set of 4 of those but I have yet to see them come up either on the classifieds or on ebay. We have a set that are likely from a mid 70's that are working fine but it would be nice to dial in on the original look.
