Those pictures are awesome. Is that the tar on the floor going into the kitchen area (to the left of the bottom left photo)? That must have been lousy to deal with.

There is an auction today for a 29' International and it is killing me not to go. I might just get my butt in gear and get over there just to see what happens with it.

Yes, that is tar. And YES, it was a mess! Good thing we decided to go with Pergo, as I was able to get floor leveler and shim it back up level. Why is there tar? I have no idea.

Aution? What auction, want my cell #???? (I have room )
Gotta Go, Susan is coming

That Purgo sounds like a good product to work with. It looks beautiful. I noticed you went side to side with this layout. We haven't started with the MH yet - good thing or we might have been borrowing your tool.....

That auction is calling me and it is scary..... We don't have the space nor a way to haul it - not for use anyway. We could easily get it home, but company vehicles aren't to be used for weekend trips....

Went that direction for ease of instalation. Lowes is having a 1/2 price clearance on some color options so we saved a ton. This newer style snaps in slick!

The Aluminum force is stong luke
Resistance is futile

That picture did me in. I've gotta go if I am going to get there for the preview. I wish Jeff could go with me. I hate the idea of going on my own - it is a real man's auction.

Auction

The auction is at 10:00 am onsite at
121 Lafayette Rd.
North Hampton, NH

Preview is going on now.

I chickened out without Jeff to go with me. It is an Absolute Auction with no reserve on 40 units and there is 1 Airstream 29' International included in the 40. I would love to think someone we know got it. I believe it is the one in the photo behind the Cherokee trailer.

I've seen what they have, it is not worth the trip. They are the ones that had the auction on E-bay that they implied a rig was restorable. It was near destroyed. Several of the rigs there have been up to thier axels in mud for some time.... PM me if you want more info..

wow, very conveniently located to Andre's house....

not much for pics, but that airstream on the auction page looks painted

Hey, don't buy any more of that pergo underlayment; I've got most of a whole roll leftover from my floor job. can't bring myself to throw it out.
I wound up putting pergo in the house, too, but I bought the kind that has an underlayment already attached, so I couldn't use up the old stuff.

Andre, about the floor...
When I did my house, I used the glue it together Pergo and BTW with 3 dogs who slip and slide on it, not one scratch in over 5 years! I installed the floor on a cement slab (no basements here) with a vapor barrier (plastic sheet) and then the foam and Pergo on top of that. I see the foam in the picture, but no plastic. Did you not put down plastic and why?

BTW, the floor is looking great!

If I may...vapor barrier is only necessary on a cement slab. on a wood floor w/ air space below, its not appropriate.

Yup, not required on plywood, anyway I had a bunch left over, wanted to see how much more it cushioned... I'm leaving the remaining linoleum, I'm using that to keep the height the same.
