I liked the wesite and the prices of the foam. We are going to order some also.

My floor replacement is coming along well thanks to Jim's help and remarkable skills. I suggest that you use nyloboard for the floor and not have to ever replace it. They are located in Covington and nice folks to deal with. Jim can give you my phone numb if I can help you any way.......Lee

I did my 73 Overlander bathroom in Nyloboard and I think it is the best.

Yes indeed. Turn on the game and grab a cold beer outta the fridge. The urge will pass quickly.
Seriously, tho, I'd go with the Nyloboard that we are using on Lee's '74. It will never rot and seems very, very sturdy. I'll give you a buzz and get Lee's number for you. He bought "seconds" literally from the factory at very low prices. Since it's seconds, you have to look for a few things. The only problem we've found so far is a couple of corners that were slightly out of square. Otherwise, I don't remember any other issues with it.

I'll go look for your thread. The previous owner of mine removed my water heater and I installed my new one. I might be able to help.

Then dropped it walking between the garage and the camper and monkeyed up the corner. Dang.

Decided to use pocket screws to put the face of the cabinets together. Many thanks to forum member Lee Dale for showing me the ropes with the jig (and for loaning it to me).

Looking good. It is coming along nicely. I am going to Ft. Yargo in Winder Nov 5th. It is about one hour from your house. You should come out and do some fall camping.

So I guess you all thought we dropped off the planet and abandoned the "Stream? Not!.....At least we have a good excuse......We've had a sort of population explosion around here the last 6 months. No, not triplets, twins plus a spare. The twins belong to our oldest daughter and SIL. The bottom one is their "cousin". The twins are almost 6 moths old now and the cousin almost 4 months. Twins left and right, cousin at the bottom of the pic. Our first grand chilin'. We're having a ball!

And of course the twins have already been exposed to the 'Streamin' life. We took them camping for the first time last month to FDR State Park in Warm Springs, Ga. Naturally, we picked a weekend when the weather would go south on us, right? Don't all good camping stories involve bad weather?
I pulled the 'Stream to the park on Friday afternoon. No sooner did I get the camper set up than the bottom dropped out of the clouds. It was one of the weekends that the tornadoes came thru this part of the country last month (read: Old testament, wrathe of God kind of stuff). It was pretty scary there for a while. I retreated to the camper and turned on the NOAA radio. First thing I hear is "tornado on the ground in Hamilton, possible path is to FDR State Park". Rats. Opened the Skylight shades and see pine trees being thrown about directly above the camper. Dang. By the Grace of the Almighty, no damage.
Susan, our two oldest kids and the twins joined me about an hour after the storms passed. No damage and everybody there safely. But wait, that's not the weird part. Storms continue all night long. Still no damage, thank the Lord. Next day, we went to Callaway Gardens to look at all of the spring flowers in bloom. The storms and hail the night before had completely removed all of the new blooms. But wait, there's more! When we got ready to leave on Sunday, the truck wouldn't start. The alternator went out and I had absolutely no tools with me. Somehow, I managed to leave home without my toolbox. Luckily, my Dad and brother live near the park, so they bailed me out.
A trip to remember!
Jim

Those are some cute little ones. I bet they are keeping you busy. I can building a crib for two in the airstream.

Got tired last night and went to bed.
The floor is almost done. The hard part was all the trimming around things. Rough on an old man's knees. This was some vinyl flooring left over from a project inside the house. I like the grays and blues in the patterns.
