Actually, not that unbelievable. I built everything around the fridges in both the Ovelander and Sovereign without ever moving them. Just lazy, I guess. No, the real reason is that when you're too green to have the confidence to tackle a shell-off refurbishment, the fridge is the most frightening item--it's hard to contemplate ever moving it. Plus, I always think "I'm just going to do a partial redo," so my trailers are all done piecemeal. Except the Safari...which is becoming a real hangar queen.

Jim:

did you put new wheels on, or those hup caps that you put on to your wheels? My wheels look like your before pictures. I tried the hubcaps they sell at Wally World but I keep losing them everytime we go somewhere. I am thinking moons.

Really does look great. Do you Still have your old rims? and are they for sale? and will they fit a 64 tw ? lots of questions. Ive still got the old split rims on mine, need to be replaced but only need 2 (single axle).

Kevin,

I still have one, maybe two left over from my 73 Sovereign. (I started with 5 but have given a few away). I need to clean out the barn and get rid of some of the excess.

These are new aluminum wheels from American Racing. I used one of the old rims for a spare, so there are three available if anybody wants them. The hubs are available also. Caution: I actually want to sell hubs and rims.

Brian, I'll give you a buzz sometime this week. You got dibs on the hubs since yous asked first.

Wheels look great!!!

The other thread was funny. I can't imagine what they'd have said about me propping up my Argy on one TrailerAide ramp, 3 jack stands and one 3 ton jack. It was very stable, but also very scary looking. I have a pic around here somewhere .....

Heh! I've documented most of what I've done on my thread and the blog, but I don't post pictures of EVERYTHING that's for sure.

No doubt, the crowd that thinks one needs a 3500 diesel and Hensley Arrow to tow my 3,800 lb trailer would have SERIOUS things to say about the way I've gone about a few of my restoration/renovation tasks....

Well, I kinda hoped I would have a big update to the thread this weekend. Not to be, unfortunately. http://www.airforums.com/forums/f38/...tml#post799125 We took many weeks off because of the holidays and the extremely cold weather here in January. Eric and I finally had some warm weather (and time) to work on the cabinet around the fridge the last week or so. Here's the gory details.

A shot of what will be the cupboard, aft or left, of the fridge. Pretty boring photo.

Aft, or left, of the fridge and cupboard, is the clothes closet. We lowered the closet about 6" in order to mount a new microwave. You might be able to see the micro sitting on the new shelf in the first post in this series.
