What to do with 1968 Sovereign interior stuff still in good shape?

Gutted a 1968 Sovereign to make a mobil kitchen. It was in great shape, no weather damage. Is there a market for this stuff or do I trash it? Am near Tyler, TX. Is outside & finally rained today(Yay!). So don't know about cupboards.

Welcome to the forums!

Hi john1mayne, Yes! There is a market for the interior parts. Most of the interior that you have pulled is no longer made and is needed in someones restoration. You could post an ad here For Sale - Parts & Appliances (no dealer sales) - Airstream Trailer Classifieds - Airstreams Trailers For Sale. You will need to log in with the same user name and password you use on Airforums. It's free...

Thanks for the help. Am new to this site, but will try to put up for sale after I take pics. I thought the items might have a market, but didn't know where. Thanks again.

we also have Sovereign interior for sale

we are in the beginning stages of planning our gut job, but may have interior parts for sale. It's a 72 Sovereign. Wonder what people are looking for. Any idea what a full remodel will cost (new cabinets, counters, floor, lounge? May try and leave the bathroom somewhat intact, seems too big of a project to take on at this time, but will likely go to a shower curtain rather than the old doors.

iarstreamkc,

Welcome to the forums, by the way, first time I see a post of yours.

It's my opinion that you can sell anything you take out of your airstream except for mouse nests and rotted flooring.

However, I would stress that, as Silverleeper pointed out when this thread began, the best way to sell any of those parts is in our free Classified section, for which you can see a link at the top of most pages.

That is where people go looking for parts, and there is a good and easy-to-use structure for doing it.

Since it's free, put them all up for sale; you never know what another member needs! Remember to put them all in one post, as pointed out in the Community Rules.

For parts, I urge you to put them all together in one post, and put lots of good clear close-up photos for them. Be sure to fill out the form as completely as possible, it helps for people that use the search.
