Replacing toilet for '69 Sovereign?

Anybody find a good fitting toilet to replace the existing toilet in a 69 Sovereign? Looking for a toilet that is plug and play ( will fit in existing mounting bolts and drainage hole.)

Sealand

A Sealand Traveler or Traveler lite should work for you. They come in two different heights and colors. Shop around for the best price.

Is your toilet covered up like in my '64 Tradewind (no photos here at work) so all you see is the foot pedal and toilet lid?. I am looking around for a replacement myself. I am leaning towards the Aqua Magic V low profile with a riser. My old unit is 15.25" tall the Aqua low profile is 12.9" (high profile is 17") and the riser is 2.5". That puts me at 15.4" which I should be able to adjust down by mounting the closet flange a bit lower. My goal is to keep the original plastic around the toilet in place.

I used the Aqua-Magic V in our '69 Sovereign. But it was far from plug and play. It would have been if the floor flange had not been rusted beyond recognition. I think ours is the taller one of the two options. Better for mature people with bad knees. For some reason the space between toilet seat and the fiberglas/plastic (on the left side as standing looking at it) is a bit tighter than on the other side. May have something to do with the way I installed the new floor flange and retaining bolts:-). But in any event, it works much better than the old one, and I am glad I did it.
best wishes, bill b.

This may help you also - it's a conversion chart from Thetford.

Just finished getting our new Aqua Magic V installed. To keep the toilet centered in the white surround I moved the black tank fitting back about 2". I broke the old tank fitting. I had to replace the fitting anyway, so I placed it where I wanted it.

Derek,

How did you finish out the enclosure?
That Aqua Magic V looks like a nice fit, but I'm wondering how you handled the pedal flush.
