Right price on a new 2021 Bambi 20FB?

first time AS buyer here. In this covid-19 market, what should my expectations be for a price on this trailer? MSRP is 55,900, I believe, and it doesn't seem like there are too many deals to be had. I'm in Texas, though I suspect the market is pretty similar everywhere in the states. I appreciate your advice. thanks.

Never hurts to call Patrick at Colonial Airstream. Be sure to ask what is included.

thanks! I have emailed him, but wouldn't the delivery charge be sky-high?

Fly in, rent pickup or large SUV, pick up the trailer, drive home.

But, I am pretty sure a dealer near you will get you at least 10% and maybe 15% off MSRP. I had quotes in the neighborhood for a 2021 Caravel.

At a minimum, you can use Colonial Airstream's price as a means of comparison. You then have to weigh the difference between your local dealer and them, or a private seller. Just as a point of interest, I drove from Tennessee to Colonial, and the guy next to me came from Texas. But, in the end, it is your decision.

If you are speaking about a trailer that is in stock then 0% off sounds about right to me.
The difference between the Caravel and Bambi is a personal choice. I think its worth the upgrade. There are numerous threads debating this topic.

We just purchased a 2021 30' Flying Cloud that we're getting in a few weeks. The best prices were around 15% off MSRP and we ended up at 17% off MSRP. But this is only because I had a referral from a friend. They were at 20% off list last year, but it's different times now.

However, I did learn on the shorter trailers the discount off list is much smaller and it sounded like it would be in the 5-10% range. I'd suggest calling around as well. And it depends on how soon you want to get it. Inventory on hand is probably going to be higher given the market.

20% off used to be the standard for a "good deal" on a current model year trailer in dealer inventory.

25% could be had mid-winter or for new untitled units that were pushing two model years old (like a new 2019 right now) or for a model and configuration that is more "taste specific" (think International Signature with the Salsa upholstery). Or for made-to-order units that the dealer wouldn't have to finance to keep in their inventory.

Now, I think 18% is the new "good deal." I recently got quotes for a 2020 28' Flying Cloud and that was the best deal I found, which was not surprisingly through Patrick at Colonial.

Any dealer charging MSRP or adding PDI fees is price gouging as far as I'm concerned, even in today's high demand, seller-friendly environment.

I purchased 2020 Bambi 20 with solar package 2 months back. MSRP was $58,634. Got 15.6% off.
