new cabinet latches

The 22Fb came with cheap plastic door/panel latches

1/2 started to fail ie they would open, but could not close them as the latch failed in the open position. I had to use a screw driver to ply the moving port open.

Well, today i replaced them with roller catch from lee valley. part # 00w15.20

10 for only $6. they are high quality and will never fail

as well, some panel door make a loud SLAm. i added thin pieces of felt on the edge of the door . all is quiet now

Nice...dealing with this under the vanity. Already tossed the oem latch and the screwdriver. The mag latch broke...a new direction as i was about to swap the broken mag latch.
Thx

i also used VHB tape under the latches to keep them solid and stay in place

the hold is now stronger than the stock latches

each latch cost less than $1

New cabinet latches

Waninae39, I had several original latches fail and have replaced them with these from Lee Valley and they are great, problem solved. Thanks for sharing.
