We have a 2016 22FB Sport...bought last March. i've put about 7000 miles on it since purchase and have spent close to 70 nights in it. Every now and then a small problem would pop up....door hinges coming loose, fresh water drain leaking etc. But, these for the most part, were tolerable....until our first long road trip.
We've just returned from a 5000 mile plus, 3 week trip from the western Rockies to the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia. Just prior to departure the radio/cd player quit...while on the road the heater quit and then one of the USB outlets followed suit. So much for enjoying those features when you most need them.
While parked for a week in WV I took off the heater cover and "low and behold" it came on! I cycled it several times before putting it back together and it worked just fine. After that...it worked all the way home..I'm glad...it got down to 22 degrees!
Also...while parked I checked the back of the radio to see if the speaker connections were loose. They were tight...so I pulled the plug out and as I was replacing it...the speakers came on. But, when I pushed it all the way in "it quite working". There was nothing I could do to get around this issue. So, we sat in silence for three weeks.
Upon our return home and after parking the trailer to un-load it...the radio came on by itself!
I realize all these items are covered under warranty but how do you get a dealer to repair or replace an item that is "working at the moment" but sure to fail once you leave their lot?
