How to transport Zamp Portable Solar Panels
Is there a correct position for the Zamp portable panels to be transported in?

I think if you see the way that UPS or FedEx throws them around during delivery (with crushed box corners and holes in box) and they survive with perhaps only dented frames (i sent back two times because of that) you will appreciate their sturdyness. I have a 2020 Bambi 20’FB and before I put a tonneau cover on my truck bed I was laying the portable panel, in its suitcase, on the front bed. Now I will lay it flat in the truck bed, maybe.

That’s what I’am thinking I have the original freight box and the suitcase itself is some padding. Thanks

I lay the suitcase flat on one of the twin beds for transport. It's cushioned there and it makes use of a space that is otherwise wasted.

Our solar suitcase rides well on the bed. I fold a blanket around it to help prevent shifting.

I strap mine up against the folded up rear seat to the truck.

Mine are always stored standing upright - never laying down. They are protected by the padded case, but it would be just my luck for something to drop on top of them and cause damage.
I got mine from AM Solar. Can't remember if the price was the lowest around, but the service was the best I could find.

Where I bought mine, no sales tax, but I think that was because the company didn’t have a brick n’ mortar in my state, yours may be different. I see they have several brands, Zamp and others.
