14A....the butt-pucker hwy!

I don't know if I am brave enough to do 14A pulling Trilla. It is hard enough for me to travel it empty! My first trip across 14A was in 1971 in a Winnebago Brave. My dad thought it would be a fun trip for the family - yes, beautiful but this was one of the trips they realized I was afraid of heights.

I always refer to 14A as the butt-pucker highway.

That's why we camp up in the Bighorns somewhere and just spend the day on the canyon rim. I would never tow a trailer on 14A either. It's bad enough going up & down US14 .

That’s why I always check my route ahead of time using the “Mountain Directory” (East edition is equally important to use if you travel east).
