City water inlet

I am having an issue with city water hook up pressure after dewinterizing. The on board water system works fine ie the pump supplies hot and cold at all faucets. I however have very little pressure with the city water inlet. I am suspicious of the water inlet port. It has had a small leak in the past but still worked last season. I have a new one but do not have it installed yet. Do you think it is an issue with the inlet port and its built in pressure control system?

Tyson,

Welcome to Aiforums.

Consider something simpler first, check the connection for city water. My shurflow has a screen in the inlet. Is it clogged up?

Is it the plastic body one ? if it is they are trouble from the start.
mine started leaking then stuck part way closed then fully closed.
puled it out and replaced with brass hook up with out regulatr.
now use reg at city hose bib then short hose to water filter then food grade hose to trailer.
So now any leaks are on ground not inside of trailer

Look through the cabinets on the inside of the Airstream and you should be able to see the back of that inlet. There is a plastic check valve that should self-drain but sometimes they don't. It can freeze or crack or both.
