Here is my "bike rack". Has made several trips with no issues. Bikes are secure, dry and clean. Only issue so far is loading muddy or dirty trail bikes.

HI. OP here! I'm happy with the Jackit tongue-mounted rack I described above. But I have to say I like this solution, too. (Now, the finished edges -- that's just showing off. )

I'm curious where you stow the "rack" when it's not in use. And don't tell me you strap it to a Fiamma rack on the rear bumper.

The only "rack" is a scrap piece of plywood that i added fork mounts and some polyurethane. When we stop to park, bikes come out and board is leaned up against the wheel under the awning. A small board is attached to one end and was cut exactly the width between the wall of the counter to the front wall. I helps stabilize the board over and big bumps or dips. Also anti skid rug padding is between the board and table. Further stabilizes the board and bikes. I can give exact dimensions if anyone is interested but it is not necessary to follow my sizing, it may be a bit different for your bikes.

Sounds like a good use for the outdoor shower!

Before our current airstream we had an 18’ a-frame pop up. Mounted a Thule bike rack on a reinforced rear bumper. Almost lost everything on the highway because the amount of jostling that happens at the back of the trailer is amplified many fold. As it was, the bikes were badly beat up. I think the safest bet is TV roof unless you have plenty of hitch weight to spare for the double hitch mount.

I had the Lippert rack and it touched the top of the LPG cover and rubbed pretty bad, one of the bolts also extended far enough to damage the aluminum on the tank over too. I had to shim the bottom pretty drastically too. The rear bike was a PITA to get on/off (and these were kids bikes). After going across the country (one way) with the Bike Wing, we sold it and got the Arvika and boy am I happy we did that. Much easier to get the bikes on, they dont shake or wobble as much either. All in all a much better rack

HI. I'm currently researching how carry my bike with my 2016 22' Sport. Wondering how your bumper set up is doing? S
