Tows great, no major issues, except learning how to master the awning.
Heading out again in 2 weeks.
I’m in Clayton, NC also. Purchased a 2020 Bambi 20’ in June that was built February 2020. I’m camped down near Savannah now and heading home Monday after a 52 day, 8,000 mile trip out west. Been through 20 states I think. Have had some issues that needed correction (hinges, drawers, rivets, flooring, water pump). Still dealing with water pump growling and popping. PM me if you want to know more. Stephen

Any new deliveries?

Bumping this thread to see if anyone following has received their trailers over the past month. If you received yours please post your model, order date, and delivery date.

I am still hopeful to receive mine in early 2021.

Ordered our 2021 19cb on Nov 24, dealer has an estimate of delivery in March/2021 with the Factory stating it will leave the facility on 2/27/21.

We ordered a 22FB Bambi the second week of November and dealer is telling us it "looks" like we will receive it in February. This seems like too short of a time based on what we are hearing. That said, how are people checking on status? Dealer gave us an order number but said it's not something we can track online.

We ordered our 20FB Caravel middle of November and we have been told that we might see it in March some time, or even early April. I asked about tracking it, and was told they only know 30 days out from the factory.

Ordered our 25' Flying Cloud FBT on July 7th, estimated delivery originally December now it's just after the 1st of the year. When I first spoke with our salesman in early June the estimated delivery was Sept/Oct, after convincing my DW to pull the trigger in July the date had already jumped back to December. I just hope there aren't any more delays, the anticipation is killing me.

PachPod Update: we ordered mid August. Trailer arrived mid November. Signed papers on Friday. Keeping it at the dealers for now, until we can safely manage an in-person orientation. Maybe in time for the holidays—not totally sure yet!

We waited 16 months for our 2021 Bambi 16RB to come in. All worth it, and I have noticed that the "pipeline" seems to be filling again. If I had to guess, I'd say the estimated lead-time you were given is reasonably accurate.

My Bambi 16RB was delivered 22DEZ20, after a 16-month wait. 100% worth it and I am 100% satisfied. Be patient, and don't settle for anything less than your first choice.

Bambi Order Update

Update on our Bambi - we were told it would go to production on 1/12 and be ready mid-February. Got the VIN today and confirmation it's still on schedule for mid-Feb. WOOHOO! It's getting closer!

I placed my order mid Aug on a Bambi 22FB. Just informed by the dealer to expect delivery in mid February. I'm in Minnesota (and the dealer is in Missouri), so will be delaying delivery until early spring.

Finally arrived at dealer!

Update: I started this thread way back in August when I placed my order. After originally being given an offline date of January 26, I was given a new offline date of February 5 after the holiday shutdown at the factory. Well she finally arrived at the dealer on February 17th and we are picking her up on Tuesday.

We had planned a trip to FL months ago with a buffer from our original offline date, but now all the buffer is used up and we leave on Friday. Looking forward to our entry into the Airstream life!

Congrats! I hope you enjoy the trailer for many years to come. We were fortunate to buy ours off a dealership just before the pandemic got rolling so we got a reduced price as there was ample stock and the dealer thought no one was going to buy a trailer! Who would have predicted this craziness??

Congrats! We placed our order in August and ours had a February delivery date and is in at the dealer too. However, it's up in NJ so we're waiting for it to warm up some and for some additional accessories to be installed first. Have a great trip!

Just found out our Bambi 22FB came off the line yesterday. The dealer says 5-10 days for transport. What have others seen for how long this takes? We are hoping more on the 5 day side than the 10.

Per my post above ours took 12 days but I was told there were delays as transit was during the big snow storm back mid February. My dealer told me they are not allowed contact the transport company until at least 10 days after the offline date.

Good Luck and hope she arrives soon!

PS. We ended up getting ours 3 days before a trip we had planned back in December. We are on the tail end of a week in the Florida keys and loving our Bambi!

Its a long yank from Ohio to California.Plus, I'm sure there's more on lot, that are sitting.
Day 10 might be closer, to finish line.

I’m probably going to change our beach camping reservations I think based on what I am hearing here - may still be able to go for some of that week but likely not the entire week as planned. Hoping for good weather for the transport company!
