Access to low point drain valves on 2022 Bambi 19cb

Anyone know how to access the values for the the two low point drains at the rear curbside under the hot water heater? I think I can barely see them from the rear storage compartment but I can not reach them from that location. They are also not accessible from the hot water heater area. Looking under the mattress I could find no access port. I must be missing something obvious. Thanks for any assistance.

You should be able to reach them through the exterior storage. That’s what I do.

On mine there’s an access panel under the mattress that goes to the area behind the water heater. I believe that’s where they are.

The water lines to the low point drains go across the back of my exterior storage, but then turn 90° into the area under the bed and behind the hot water heater. I can see the valves but I would need to either crawl into the storage space or have four foot arms to reach them. Is your Bambi configured with the valves in the storage area?

Pulled out the mattress there's no access panel. Airstream must have forgotten to put it in. I like the idea of accessing the valves from the outside storage so I'll see if I can relocate them where they can be reached.

Mine is a 23 CB which is laid out exactly the same in the back. But yes my valves are in the storage compartment near the back wall on the right. I can reach in to turn them.

We have a 2018 19cb. We quickly became frustrated with the black low point drain valves due to both location and poor function.
For several years now we have left the original valves open and installed these push on cpvc valves under the trailer on the 4 low point drain pipes.
Easy to reach. No more lifting mattress or crawling into storage.

A better source for the valves:

Oops, turns out I do have an access panel under the mattress. I use a moisture prevention underliner beneath the mattress that is taped down to prevent sliding. I had only removed a section of the pad nearest the rear when I first checked. So I do have access to the valves if I lift the mattress and remove the underliner. Can't understand why Airstream doesn't make these valves easier to access in this model.

Thanks pcskier and DarthBrader for pointing me in the right direction. And thanks Bill n Rose, those valves look like they can easily be installed where the lines cross the back of the outside compartment.

Remote access would be a sensible thing for AS to provide. Simple push/pull rods connected to wherever the valves must be located by engineering/design should be a simple matter if electric solenoids frighten them….they work pretty reliably in washing machines and dishwashers.
