2008 Bambi TLC

well i made a lovely long post although without photo's and it's not uploaded?

the little 16ft trailer (international series) needs some TLC.
from a big dent, to water dripping, to an intermittent power jack, to a bleach stain on the chocolate brown cushions and mice...

i'm hoping to detail the care we plan on giving the trailer over the months to come.
on order is a back hatch seal, in progress are the cushions getting reupholstered as well as the dent getting pulled!!! cool cool tools there.

mice clean up completed although the entry point remains a mystery but several traps now in the trailer and the parking location is somewhat better.

dh is slowly working on the power jack.

well the back hatch seal is ordered and sold by the foot, including s&h $118 cad. the quote for the cushions is just under $1900 cad and we're satisfied with the quote.
hubby "winterized" the lines and i'm pleased to say no leaks on that front. but we know leaks only get bigger so we need to keep digging. mouse free today...
also added two small gromets that are under the dinette to the replace list as both are cracked and subsequently slightly damaged the trim on the bench.

lots of stuff on order, no luck with getting the power jack to work (fuse change didn't do the trick or any of the simple stuff) and no further work on the dent or figuring out how to post photo's .
thanks to the forum i have ordered a badge and indeed the thor sticker which is peeling off might be the perfect spot.

so far just little things coming in. and little things coming out (changed out a few command strip type hooks). curtains washed and closet door readjusted. with the latest mouse infestation hubby pulled the door off mighty quick to check hot water tank etc. which caused alignment issues when we put it back on.
no work on the dent yet...

discovered a tiny light switch and non-functioning light by the grey water drainage pipe...
two 6" long metal mesh organizers arrived. the plan is to mount them on the cork board.
the idea is to unclutter the shelf below the mirror which is a catch all from cell phones to toothbrushes...(bathroom organizers on order). the cork board is never used.
no sign of mice and still no clue as to their entry point.

the bedding's arrived and things are progressing. thanks to a few sites, while hubby works on the bees, i've taken on the job of applying a little grease to a few stiff spots; the steps...man those are expensive to replace better take care of those! the awning, and the two window seams. nothing drastic but the little things that should keep the trailer in good shape longer. sad to think how many years went by with us taking the little things for granted .
i'm wanting to reorganize the under bed storage. some of the bins have cracked BUT the bigger issue is the internal doors don't fully open so that means the bins on the left can't come out from inside the trailer.
space is NOT an issue for us but organization is. i would like to replace the 4 bins that are at the front with 4 others that are 1) slightly smaller so they slide out with the doors as is 2) a bit more robust than sterlite. although i do like seeing through them...decisions decisions.
input on bins and under bed storage appreciated.

another little job done! first time ever cleaning the fantastic fan, mine has the screen screwed into place, the screen in excellent condition cleaned well. the blades didn't look like they would come off in one piece so i cleaned that slowly and surely.
next i plan on cleaning the bathroom fan!! thanks to airforums i have several great suggestions to try.
still no progress on the dents, leak, or power jack.
