Post We did it! Safari 25'SS SE LS

After years of searching, we're finally ordering our Special Edition 25'SS!!! Her name is "Roadsub" per my 10 year old son. It's our first trailer and we don't have a clue what we're doing but it's our dream and I sure have learned a lot by lurking here for a few months. Can't wait to go the factory to see her made! I'm one of you now (or very soon)!

Congrats -

The factory tour is soooo interesting - especially if you have one on the line!!

Too much to see in one day - schedule an extra day if possible!

Cool whoo-hooo

Congratulatons, I hope you'll be as happy with yours as I am with mine.

It's not really a cult, just a lot of people who know how to have fun, .. so go for it!

The people who do the "full monte" and restore vintage units - now that's a cult! Or maybe a calling! Or maybe they're just nuts, but they're happy.

Happy Trails, and teach your son the lyrics "We all live in a silver submarine, a silver submarine..."

Congratulations on your new Airstream!

Roadsub,

Congratulations on joining the ranks of the Airstream Forum and especially congratulations on your new TT to be.

As others have said, if you are able to go to Jackson Center to see your new TT on the production line, it will be a big thrill.

What Airstream dealer are you working with?

That's great! My son came up with the name and he loves that Beatles song but I don't think he's made the connection. . .he's going to get a kick out of that!

Welcome aboard. Lots of used to be "lurkers" here that are now members. We have an 04-25 Safari w/twins---beds that is--- & really like it. Did you get the dinette or the fold down table? We went with the fold down, as we wanted the added room when the table is down. If you can get to the factory when it's being put together it's an added high.
Best,

We got the dinette. We've got a couple little ones so we need a place to sit them for "time outs".

I can hear it already - "mommy, mommy, I've been bad - send me to the trailer!"

Our teenage son routinely does his homework in the trailer - he likes the low distraction atmosphere. The dinnette will be useful for many years.
