Help! water leak on bedroom floor

Two days out from travel, loading nonessentials in underbed space, I feel carpet there very wet, & prob further under bed but I haven't pulled apart totally just yet.theres no obvious leak from ceiling (drip, watermarks, and mainly just wet carpet on floor I pulled out carpet at that section, wanted to replace nasty carpet anyway. Main concern is rot. Any suggestion til I get me to service center??

What kind of trailer do you have?

Water could be coming from outside (If there has been rain) or from leaking plumbing inside.

Has there been rain? Is there any plumbing under or near that bed (water heater maybe? Is the bathroom right there? Is the city water inlet near there?)

Have you been using the city water connection, or the pump and the onboard fresh water tank?

A flashlight and a mirror can help a lot! Could be anything from a window left open in a rain storm to a fractured pipe. Turn your water pump on and with all faucets closed wait and see if the pump cycles. That will tell you if a pipe is leaking.

We need a little more information in order to help. I looked at your prior posts and see that you have a 2005 25' FB.

What is the bed configuration?

If you have the full size bed, there is no plumbing beneath the full size bed (maybe the water inlet is I'm not sure), so if there is no plumbing it would have to be a leak from the exterior. (roof penetration or window most likely)

If you have the twin bed configuration that one end of the bed is against the wall with plumbing, there could be either a plumbing leak or rain water leaking in elsewhere.

There's also a possibility of condensate from your AC leaking.

My 25' was leaking when I purchased it around the perimeter of the front fantastic fan, but showed as water dripping inside the overhead cabinet and on the floor at the front of the trailer beneath the front window. Curved walls make it tricky to find a leak from above.

I have same year and model, had same wet carpet. It turned out to be back of shower mixer. Open closet, undo panel to back of mixer and take a look. Also, when I turned shower on, it was leaking into back of shower through mixer plate. I had to reseal that area. And of course, in my 12 year old AS, several windows leak.

Hi

If there is a way to track it to one side or the other of the trailer (or dead center) that's going to help narrow this down.

It's somewhat dry now, but still want carpet out. The hard part is circuit board attached to bed, do I need electrician to raise bed to get rid of awful carpet??

If front bedroom then front window leaking down internally to the subfloor and carpet soaking it up. External storage door can be leaking tool.

You need to pull the carpet out to dry properly. Best to remove the bed frame to do this.

Hi

One nasty thing with front end leaks ... you drive at *this* speed and *that* rain through *those* puddles. The water hits at a specific angle on a spot and in it comes. Finding that sort of leak is not any fun at all.
